I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master's degree in mental health counseling from Lamar University and a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of South Alabama. I earned status as a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors in 2017.
In 1999, I began my counseling career as a school counselor and worked with children and adolescents in urban and rural areas. Many struggled with trauma (parents with addiction, an incarcerated parent, neglect, and abuse). I work with adults on developmental issues in schools, communities, churches, and private practice.
